Newell Brands wanted to boost sales of its outdoor product lines through a custom “Wilderness Ready” page on Amazon. With an extremely limited budget and no access to original photography, the challenge was to create a cohesive, premium visual experience that felt authentic to outdoor enthusiasts.

As lead art director, I guided a team of in-house designers to concept and produce the campaign entirely from stock imagery. The creative idea centered on helping people “find their spirit animal” by showcasing anthropomorphic animals using Newell’s outdoor gear, cleverly pairing products with playful personality. Through meticulous retouching, compositing, and art direction, we built a vibrant, adventure-driven world that brought both humor and heart to the shopping experience.

Despite the constraints, Wilderness Ready delivered a high-impact brand presence that exceeded expectations. The campaign proved that smart ideas and creative resourcefulness can transform even limited assets into a distinctive visual story, driving engagement and reinforcing Newell’s outdoor identity on Amazon.
