Activision wanted to promote a new Alexa skill that integrated directly with Destiny 2, allowing players to use their voice to interact with the game in real time. The challenge was to show how naturally the feature fit into gameplay without feeling like a tech demo.
Building on Amazon’s established “Alexa Moments” campaign, I led art direction for a series of videos that brought this innovation to life. Each spot captured players seamlessly using voice commands mid-game—calling up loadouts, checking stats, or finding their next mission—all through their Echo device. The visuals and tone highlighted how effortlessly the skill expanded the Destiny 2 experience beyond the controller.
The campaign successfully positioned the Alexa skill as both futuristic and intuitive, resonating with gamers and tech enthusiasts alike. It generated strong engagement across social and digital platforms, helping reinforce Destiny 2’s reputation as one of the most innovative connected gaming experiences of its time.
